The First Wave is back at Summerfest! We are incredibly excited to be playing an extended set at the South Party Pavilion...and it will absolutely be a party! Celebrate the 4th of July with us as we play from 4pm to 6:45pm! Join us for our performance of your favorite 80's New Wave & Alternative hits, from artists such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, The Smiths, Tears For Fears, Billy Idol, Duran Duran, and much more! The First Wave are a WAMI-nominated band who have performed at many of the area's largest venues over the past 7 years, including Summerfest, State Fair, Bastille Days, Turner Hall, and more. Rave reviews have been pouring in, pointing to the band's accurate and energetic performances of these songs...and to the band's unique playlist of New Wave and Alternative material that is not often covered by other bands.
Based in Milwaukee, The First Wave specializes in music from the grittier realm of the 80’s, including tunes from bands like The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode and much more!
